Founder & Tour Leader
My name is Akhjol / Aka /, and I’m from Bayan-Ulgii, the westernmost province of Mongolia, where the majestic Altai Mountains meet the heart of Kazakh nomadic culture.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Thailand and work as a qualified air traffic controller in Mongolia. At the same time, I’ve been organizing custom travel experiences for several years turning my passion for nature, culture, and human connection into a meaningful business.
I founded Arujan LLC to offer truly authentic adventures throughout all regions of Mongolia from the dramatic dunes of the Gobi Desert, the lush forests of the north, and the spiritual heartlands of Central Mongolia, to the rugged peaks of the Altai Mountains in the west. While our head office is based in Ulgii, we proudly lead journeys nationwide, covering the diverse landscapes and cultures of our beautiful country.
Whether you’re trekking through untouched wilderness, riding horses across open steppe, sharing stories with eagle hunters, or witnessing nomadic life firsthand, I’m here to make sure your experience is real, personal, and unforgettable.
